This system is used where small amount of energy is required like for dc fan, led, laptop & mobile charging etc.
This system is for energy saving. Not for back up use. Panels are directly connected with local utility with grid tie inverter. Suppose you have installed 1000w grid tie system, at its pak it generate 750w load. If you are running 5fan & 8savers, they will get power from Solar. Your electricity meter wont run. In evening or when sun intensity is less panel for example generate 500w power, remaining 250w load will be on locat utility. After sunset & during loadshedding hours this system wont work.
This system works like an ordinary ups, the only difference is that Solar Panels are attached for increased back up, increased battery life & reduced electricity bills.
In this system hybrid inverter is used which is able to take power from Local Grid, Solar Panel & Battery and convey to the load. During day time when peak sun light available, load will be powered directly by sun. After sunset load will be powered by local utility. In case of loadshedding battery back up is available.
